My NICU Graduate's Journey
Cassian was born early on 1/9/26 due to IUGR and preeclampsia with cord blood flow reversal. He was tiny for his gestational age at birth weighing 2lbs 3oz. He developed a chronic lung condition called bronchopulmonary dysplasia but that didn't stop him from growing. He's our little fighter. He required respiratory support while in the NICU for quite some time before being able to wean down on O2 to go home in early May. He's come a lonnngggg way. He's now 9Ibs!

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
Cassian has overcome a lot since birth. He required a PICC line and blood transfusion amongst other things. He's had more echos and imaging than I can count. He's still on oxygen. Despite medical challenges, he had taken it all in stride and is the chillest, sweetest baby boy.
