My NICU Graduate's Journey
Nicolas was born at 25 weeks on June 2nd. Nico was really sick the first month of his life requiring higher level of respiratory support (oscillator and nitric oxide). With continued medical intervention he persevered through and eventually required less support as months went on! Despite having to be discharged with home oxygen, we were able to finally bring him home after being in the NICU for 115 days!

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
What makes me proud is how resilient he is! Until this day I can see how strong spirited Nicolas is, and has been since he was born.
