My NICU Graduate's Journey
William was born at 28 weeks after placental abruption post fetal surgery. He was born with Spina bifida and over came his challenges with clubbed feet as well. He was a fighter from the beginning and started on CPAP never having to be ventilated. He continued to push his entire time. During COVID no one was able to see him but Dad and I so we spent tbe time going back and forth reading to him and holding him as much as possible.

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
He has the brightest smile and is the most resilient person I know. As a full time wheel chair user he doesn't let anything stop him. He tries everything and doesn't let his abilities stop him.
