My NICU Graduate's Journey
Joshua was born in October of 2023 after birth he had developed hydrocephalus and needed to have surgery. At 1 month old Lurie Children's hospital performed surgery on him and came out strong afterwards. He stayed in there NICU department for 2 months he had came home 10 days before Christmas. Joshua has had some struggles but thru it all he strived and still strives and grows. He learns day by day and in the process we have learned a lot from him. He enjoys going out a lot and spending his days with his mommy. He is a joy and we love either way.

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
I'm proud that he is my baby boy and he enjoys being around me everyday. I don't know where I would be without him. I love him either way.
