My NICU Graduate's Journey
Sophia was born at 22.5 weeks. She weighed 15.02oz and was 10.25 inches long. She went through an extensive 265 day NICU stay. Now she’s 2.5 years old and is loving life. Shes so full of energy and happiness. She enjoys climbing, books, music, and dancing. She still goes back to visit her favorite nurses and doctors at CHOPs NICU. She’s a true miracle.

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
Her determination to do everything. We were told that the probability of her living a normal life was slim to none. She has proved every doctor that has said that wrong. She’s determined, confident, strong willed, intelligent, and kind.
