My NICU Graduate's Journey
After losing her twin at 13 weeks and being a 2-vessel velamentous cord baby, and after momma had been on bed rest in the hospital for 3 weeks, Sarah Rose was born at 36 weeks weighing, 3 lbs 14 oz. Shortly after coming out via C-section, she was brought to the NICU where she hung out for 15 days until she finally hit 4 pounds to go home. This world isn't built for tiny babies like that, but this girl is a fighter.

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
The determination she put forth to live in a world that she quickly fell behind in, yet prove that she could do it and make a difference.
