My NICU Graduate's Journey
Amani was born at 31 weeks at 3lbs.15oz and required c-pap for awhile then regular oxygen. It was unsure if she had suffered any brain injuries/brain bleeds until brain scans were done a couple of times. Feeding was an issue as she was still very premature but she eventually caught on. Total NICU stay was 31 days and now Amani is a happy healthy 21 month old very busy little girl.

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
Amani is a very smart baby. She can say up to 21 words, she can run, jump and wrestle around with her siblings…she is small but fierce.
