My NICU Graduate's Journey
Nick and Lucas were born February 2020 and were at the ICN for 101 days during Covid lockdowns. It was a rough start with ventilators, cpaps, an infection, a surgery, and weaning off the feeding tubes. Their resiliency and strength inspired me every day to be brave for them. We go back to their NICU every year to celebrate their “homecoming” day and to say thank you to the nurses and doctors who saved their lives, we will be forever grateful to them!

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
Now they are thriving in preschool, love drawing and painting. They use their imaginations to play mermaids and super heroes. They are curious, creative, and kind. Their favorite color is “rainbow” and their joy shines light to everyone they meet.
