My NICU Graduate's Journey
Born at 33 weeks and weighing 3.5 and 3 pounds these girls got to ride in their first airplane in a life flight to a larger hospital. Thanks to steroid interventions 2 full doses in pregnancy they were soon on room air, but struggled to gain weight, maintain their tempature and brady events. They had the fastest little fingers in the NICU and loved to pull their tubes out even when mommy and the nurse were double teaming their cares. They got to win the hearts of their NICU team for 30 and 32 days before coming home. They took life at their own pace and wouldn't let anyone tell them what to do. We are so thankful for our NICU team and the other families who all showered them with love to help them grow.

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
These girls never let their struggles get in their way. They show strength and understanding at every turn. They are strong, resilient, and full of love. They made our home, hearts, and family complete.
