My NICU Graduate's Journey
Born 8 weeks early with multiple birth defects, he had to overcome prematurity as well as multiple minor and major surgeries. Breathing was a challenge for him in the NICU, and continued to be challenging after every surgery. His final surgery was in July 2017 where he fought some complications during which time he met some music therapists. His love of music was sparked and now the breath he fought for helps him to create beautiful music.

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
He faces his fears and challenges with hard work, perseverance, and a positive attitude. He sets high goals for himself and looks for ways to improve himself. He will graduate from high school in May 2026 has been accepted into his dream school's prestigious school of music where he will study music performance.
