My NICU Graduate's Journey
Madison was born exactly 12 weeks early at 28 wks 0 days. She weighed 3lbs 3oz. She struggled in the beginning of her NICU journey but quickly was about to be extracted. She spent the next 75 days in the NICU learning to breath without the assistance of oxygen therapy and learning to eat. It was difficult to be in a hospital almost 2 hrs from home and her family but Madison was a determined little girl who finally accomplished all of the NICU requirements to be able to fi ally go home to mom, dad and her 2 big sisters.

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
Madison is a very quiet child who loves deeply and is very loyal to her 3 best friends. Madison has struggled in school over the years, especially during Covid. She is an extremely talented artist who loves to draw and has decided she wants to study Animated Arts at Kutztown University when she graduates high school in 2027. I believe she will accomplish anything she puts her mind to and I am proud to be her mom.
