My NICU Graduate's Journey
Jru was born via emergency c-section at 29 weeks due to me catching covid and it sending me into a silent hypertensive crisis! I am a NICU RN myself, I have been for 11 years. At the time of Jru’s birth I was 6 years into my career and let me just say the saying “Ignorance is bliss” is so true! After spending 3 long month in the NICU, I am just blessed that I knew exactly what was going on and so happy to not only be his mommy but a strong advocate as well! Jru came home oxygen and tube feeding free and had routinely check ups as expected.

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
His resilience, perseverance, personality and HIM in general! I love me some Jru!
