My NICU Graduate's Journey
Life flighted at just a few hours old to children’s hospital not knowing what actually is wrong. We were told he had a bowel blockage, which turns out he has malrotation and his appendix was on the wrong side. So at just a week and half old he had emergency surgery. Once having the surgery he continued his say for almost a month, but after having surgery he’s became healthy

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
He’s now healthy, strong, adventurous and sports/dinosaur loving boy. He’s on his 4th Tball season at just 4 years old and this past winter played on his first basketball team. He’s continuing to grow and learn, but he won’t need the tee much longer and has been hitting the ball when the coach(mom) pitches to him. He also absolutely has a passion for dinosaurs and could tell you which dinosaur is which and if they are plant or meat eaters, which is quite impressive for a 4 year old.
