My NICU Graduate's Journey
Alaina was born at 34 weeks. Weighing at 4 lbs 13oz. She gave the saying “dynamite comes in small packages”, a very accurate statement! She may have been small but OH, was she a fighter! They placed a feeding tube just in case she stopped nursing but they never once had to use it. However, she was so stubborn and refused to eat for anyone except her Mama! So, even though usually they don’t allow parents in the NICU during shift change, they had to make an exception for me! She spent 6 days in there and progressed so rapidly.

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
I am so proud of her for her strength to accomplish anything she sets her mind to, then and now!
