My NICU Graduate's Journey
Xander was a twin born at 25 weeks. He spent 91 days in the NICU. Sadly his twin brother didn’t make it. He has faced many challenges since birth. In 2024 he was diagnosed with epilepsy after a 40 minute seizure that ended up causing the part of his brain that was already damaged to sadly to get more brain damage. He was diagnosed with epilepsy, lung disease, cerebral palsy, and autism. But my little fighter fights hard everyday. It took him 3 years to truly walk on his own and he has fought since he was born and he continues to be a true little warrior battling every battle head on. My sweet boy is turning 4 in October.

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
He fights every battle like a little warrior and doesn’t give up. He is truly my little miracle.
