My NICU Graduate's Journey
Brooke arrive 7 weeks early by emergency c-section. She had a helicopter ride from Breese, IL to St. Louis, MO.
She spent 15 days at Cardinal Glennon in St. Louis, Mo.
On May 8, 2026 she graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Elementary Education Bachelors degree from McKendree University.

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
Brooke has been focused on becoming a teacher to help young minds grow and learn every day. She is patient and kind. Children love her and can’t wait to see her when she is working at a local daycare when not attending college classes.
