My NICU Graduate's Journey
He was born at 26 weeks weighing 2lbs 0oz. He stayed in the NICU for 7 months. He had 6 surgeries, a gtube, neecin, included. He had a long fight in the NICU and came home and became an exceptional person. He is so smart and strong. Now I’m working in the NICU to honor all the parents that fight for their babies

What makes you proud of your NICU graduate?
His strength and perseverance makes me so proud. The odds were stacked against him and he made it out to live his life. He made me stronger which makes me more proud of him. His NICU adventure gave me the strength to finish nursing school 10 years later and become a NICU nurse to help the parents and babies.
