During her three years at Nine Lives, "Marise" was known for her gentle demeanor, super soft rabbit fur, and insatiable demand for skritchies. Upon adoption, because she weighed 15 lbs rather than the recommended 10, she was rechristened Fatso. On a carefully-calculated vet-monitored diet, she has since plateaued around 12.5 and feels self-righteously validated that she is simply big-boned (albeit with a tiny head and ginormous badonkadonk.) Fatso enjoys lazing in the sun, spying on the tree rats and birdies, and occasional supervised strolls in the garden. She murders a minimum of three fake mice every night, and likes to line them up like an OCD serial killer.
