Newman was adopted in 2009 close to Halloween-time, but his date of birth has always been a mystery. Close to his infancy Newman sustained an injury from his previous owner and one of his rear leg was amputated. Despite his handicap he has no problem running, jumping and terrorizing his two older brothers. He has always been the most adventurous of the three and has a temper to match. Newman is known for “annexing” nap locations around the house; he will annoy, push and shove until one of the other two leave and give up.
Newman loves food, his daily routine revolves around his eating schedule. That being said, he can become a little grumpy when he has to wait too long for food (according to him), and has been known to pick fights with the other two out of frustration. Besides food, Newman loves playing in boxes and baskets, playing with toy mice, looking out the window, and sniffing through the screen door. He dislikes waiting for meals, sharing, and having his ears cleaned.
