We had just lost our cancer kitty, BabyCat (also adopted from 9Lives) and Dr. Rudiger thought Butter would be perfect for us. He had been trapped at a ferel colony but was so friendly that he just walked into the trap. He was covered in dirt and was grey in color. As the techs were cleaning him, they said he "just melted like butter" which is where he got his name. After being shaved to get rid of the dirt and grime, his coat grew back into the beautiful color that he is today. He's very friendly and loves to go in the backyard (only under supervision!) and sleep in the sun or play with his 'brother' Bunnykins.
