My older child had been wishing for a cat on every eyelash and fountain coin for the past 3 years. We finally had enough space to bring home a cat, and I'd decided that would be my Mother's Day gift. We made it into 9 Lives with only 30 minutes to spare before closing, and had actually settled on another cat, when Tiger Lily (aka "Lily") came scampering after the feather wand my kid was waving around and then promptly rolled over for belly rubs. She won both of our hearts in that instant and sealed the deal. She's entertained and beguiled us non-stop since then with her motorcycle purrs, bedtime romps, and intense curiosity and has even made our dog, Ginger, fall in love with her. We're so grateful to 9 Lives for finding and saving our lovely Lily.
