Bailey was one of the 14 "liquor store cats" They were abandoned on one of the hottest days last summer in four huge plastic storage containers behind the liquor store that is across the street from the Nine Lives clinic. There were a few holes punched in the lids, but they had no water or food inside. I was one of the volunteers at the clinic that day, and we carted them in. When we opened the lids, the inside and the kitties all reeked of cigarette smoke. Thankfully, they all seemed to be in pretty good shape.

Bailey is a clown, a lover, and an absolute joy. He reminds me daily that life is good.
