Baxter came to the Harris Co shelter as an injured kitten. His little head had suffered a lot of trauma. He was deemed "not adoptable" due to these injuries. His face was shared hundreds of times on Facebook and I had offered to be the last resort option. And thank goodness I did! As soon as I saw him, I was in love. I knew then and there that this cat, who I was taking for a few days max, was never leaving. His tongue is always out and his face is lopsided but he is perfect! His personality steals the show. I actually have people ask me if they can just meet him. He makes everybody smile...he's a great reminder that we can, and should, overcome the obstacles that life throws our way because our souls want to live life to the fullest, as it is meant to be.
