Scout was adopted from a Great Pyranese rescue in Conroe at 4 months old. He began training to be my service dog when he was a year old. With help from TADSAW trainer Pam Griffin he passed his PATT test in July and is now a full partner here at the HEB in Cleburne, Texas. To my understanding, we are the first service dog team ever in HEB history. This picture was taken this week during our Read 3 promotion to encourage childhood literacy programs in the state of Texas... With Scout's help we gave 570(estimated) books to individual children in our store yesterday.
