Little Jack had a date with death. His time was up. He was slated to be EU'd (euthanized) Friday afternoon at the city pound; suffering the same fate of so many other Houston strays. But Jack escaped! He received a last minute reprieve in the form of a rescue group and a foster and was snatched from the jaws of death at the last possible second. After exiting the pound, and realizing his good fortune, he belted out a long, memorable and resounding howl. It sounded a whole lot like, "THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUU!"
