Duncan was adopted by me on my birthday in July 2011 (he was 10 months old at the time). I just showed up one Saturday afternoon to the SPCA just minutes before they closed for the day. I think we both chose each other. And he ended up helping me cope with the loss of my husband of 30 years in December of that year. I don't know what I'd do without this sweet boy. He's truly been the light of my life.
