Gertrude was adopted from Friends for Life, a no-kill shelter in Houston. Following the death of my eighteen year old cat I went on a search for a new friend. I volunteer at the shelter so I could watch for the cat that would steal my heart. I wanted the perfect cat and Gert has been that for me. She is loving and playful. She even gets along with our 2 older cats. I love her and look forward to spending many years together.
