Teddy was adopted from Northeast Animal Shelter actually 9 years ago today. He was only 8 months old, but had been abused by his former owners. He barked and nipped at most people and I almost gave up on him, but with some TLC Teddy is now called "the mayor" in his neighborhood, greeting and wagging his tail at everyone.
He's smart as a whip. One day Teddy came into the room and just sat up on his haunches. Kids love it when they say, "Teddy, be a bunny" and he sits up!
