GiGi came into our lives in August 2019. She was rescued by a local organization from a high-kill shelter in Brooklyn, New York. This photo was taken a mere week after her adoption. She would sit atop the carpeted stairs and peak at us with her bright blue eyes. She had the cutest face.

At the senior age of 13, GiGi was extremely playful and full of life. She had the heart of a kitten. You never would have guessed that she was riddled with cancer. We sure didn't. GiGi was laid to rest in July 2020-- less than a year after we were blessed with her. While our hearts were broken, we were at peace knowing that GiGi's last year was her greatest year. We'll never stop missing her.
