I met Luvey a week before the pandemic lock down. I had just lost my cat and I was a mess. I knew I needed a new companion and one Friday night I went on to the NEAS and there she was waiting for me. Her description was was just what I want. The next morning I went to the shelter and was there at 8:45 AM. I met her and she stole my heart..no need to think about other kitties, I knew she was meant to be with me. She is so sweet, affectionate, and a wonderful disposition...to say nothing of her great looks. I brought her home and got very curious about learning more about her if I could. I called the shelter that fixed her all up and sent her to NEAS. She was delighted that she had been adopted so quickly and told me that Luvey originally had been picked up by a destroy shelter in FLA. and only had 2 or 3 days left.
She obviously had had a family because and friendly. Well, I will never know what happen, but I am grateful that she rescued me. She is so well trained and loving....what a gift the Universe provided for the pandemic. She is only 2-2 1/2 and I am looking forward to growing old with her.
