Isis was adopted from NEAS after being brought up from North Carolina, where she was in a feral colony. How did she, possibly a pedigree Snowshoe, end up there? And she was pregnant, too! My bet she was dumped, poor girl.
Now she is living the Good Life, lots of food, cushy pillows, fun toys, and sleeps on my head every night.
