A little about me...
We got Max December of 2019 from the Friendship APL. I saw his picture online and told my husband we needed him in our home. We got up and hurried to be the first in line. We spent a long time with Max at the APL, making sure he was a good fit for us and our family was a good fit for him. He was timid and scared; and with five kids in our house, we didn’t know if it would be too much for him. But I knew we could turn his life around, and I felt that he wanted love so bad. We happily took Max home and introduced him to our kids slowly. Within a couple days Max would come to us, he started playing with toys, and the weeks and years following have just been amazing. Max is living his best life. He smiles when he runs, he throws his toys at us, he loves people, he knows he’s safe and he’s right where he should be - in our home. I wish everyone could have a Max, but I’m so happy that we are the lucky ones to have him in our family.
