Jax aka Twiggles was so fortunate to be rescued by Neuse River Golden Retriever Rescue. There had been an accident resulting in the need for extensive surgery to repair his injuries & Neuse River was able to cover the expenses in order to get him the expert attention he needed at NC State Vet School. Then he went to a wonderful foster home where he got excellent care along with the love & attention he needed to recover. He was a young dog that was given a chance to live a normal life because of this rescue coming to his aid. I was fortunate to be chosen as his adopter, in part I believe, due to having previous experience with a dog with orthopedic issues. He came into my life when I needed a companion & he has been great company. The device on his collar is a GPS/health tracker.
