I especially like this photo because I think it captures the spectrum of dogs NRGRR rescues - big, small, young, old, purebred, mix, healthy, and special needs. Katie and Jake were adopted from local shelters as puppies and are wonderful friends and mentors for the foster dogs that come live with us. After fostering 50 dogs with NRGRR, I finally failed with Sunshine 17, a senior special needs girl who decided she wasn't going anywhere. Daisy, an 8 week old foster, went on to live the good life with a new adoptive family.
