Roxy was rescued from China in Oct 2019. She was emaciated, scared & had never been a family pet that anyone could tell. She had a lot to learn on how to “dog”. After several months of putting on weight & learning the caring touch a loving human hand could bring, Roxy was put up for adoption. That’s when we entered the picture in March 2020. We welcomed Roxy into the family to join a lab sister, Maui, adopted 2 mos earlier. The two started bonding immediately. Even though Maui was a puppy, she was showing Roxy the ropes. And now a year & a half later, Roxy has blossomed into a goofy, beautiful girl that will stand her ground when she wants a certain bone or attention from Mom & Dad. She makes us giggle & we cheer her on when it happens. Her favorite pastimes are naps on the couch, lounging in the grass & anything involving food. She’s a sweet girl & we’re so grateful we were chosen to be her family!
