Jackson has the most gorgeous, siky black coat and a big golden heart. His coat is the envy of all the neighborhood walking ladies - and he's proud to flaunt his floof! Flatcoat retrievers are often described as the Peter Pan of retrievers and Jackson is no exception. At almost 7 years old, he's youthful, silly, nosy, energetic, and eager to please. Jackson is living his best life at the NC coast where his favorite things to "fish" are roosters, cats and squirrels. He's a velcro boy who follows his mama everywhere - and hopefully gets a long walk at the beach or a smidge of chicken. Jackson enjoys front porch sitting, chewing tennis balls, dining al fresco, and finding stinky teenager socks. Thanks to NRGRR and his awesome foster family for giving this sweet "non-golden" a second chance!
