Pender is definitely a beach boy at heart . His roots are on the coast and it is evident everytime he steps paw on the sand. He is overwhelmed and overjoyed. What to do first - romp down the beach, run into the water and surf the waves, or roll and dig in the sand ? Whatever he chooses he becomes the picture of pure joy ! Pender loves all things water.. He looks forward to the NRGRR Swims ever year being one of the first to arrive and last to leave!
Pender is thankful the NRGRR was there when he needed to be rescued and he lives ever day to his Golden best ! He now wags a quite magnificent tail with 14 inch feathers which only had a tuft of hair at the tip when he was rescued in 2017. Thanks to all of you who helped NRGRR rescue him and all the other lucky NRGRR alumni !
