Elijah and Keeghan are both FREE because of NRGRR. Elijah (top step) got his FREEdom ride from the Johnston County Shelter after his family abandoned him. They tied him to their front porch and moved away leaving him alone and confused! Keeghan is FREE from pain because NRGRR paid for much needed surgery. He was diagnosed with hip dysplasia when he was 6-month-old. His owners took him to their vet to be euthanized—at only 7 months. The vet asked if they would surrender him to NRGRR versus putting him down. They said yes, and he became my foster for 17 months until he got through his surgery and rehabilitation—then I “foster-failed” and he became a permanent member of my family.
