Pet(s) Story or Bio
Bentley came to NRGRR from Duplin County where a farmer saw him running wild in the farm fields. After baiting him with food and befriending him, no one locally claimed him, so he came to Raleigh for fostering. At 88 lbs, numerous infections and medical problems, he went up for what became a failed-fostering. After eight months of transitioning him from being a wild dog, he slowly settled into his true Golden Glory. Now as a therapy dog, we visit TLC Hospice, Rex Hospital, See Spot Read and Raleigh Rescue Mission to share his golden love, compassion and warmth with all he meets. His 100 lb. weight and tall handsome stance makes him perfect for sharing his heart of love and ministry to heal broken and stressed hearts of children and adults alike.
