Elijah and Keeghan are both NRGRR alums and foster fails! Elijah was abandoned by his previous owners, tied to their front porch for three days until neighbors called animal control and he ended up in a high-kill shelter. Keeghan was surrendered to NRGRR when the owners wanted him euthanized at seven months old because he had severe hip dysplasia. The vet asked them to consider an alternative for their puppy by surrendering him to NRGRR instead. Both Elijah (Nate 14) and Keeghan (Amstel19) have served as great ambassadors for NRGRR participating in parades, Golden on the Green, Bark in the Park, numerous micro-brew events, visiting local universities during exam week, and many, many dog swims over the years. They are living the "Golden Life" because NRGRR rescued them; got Keeghan the surgery he needed; and I made them a permanent member of my family. Thank you NRGRR for saving my boys!
