Marley was surrendered to NRGRR Thanksgiving 2013 with two torn ACLs. We were lucky enough to foster him through his surgery and recovery, and so grateful that he ended up adopted us. Marley last graced the NRGRR calendar in 2015 with his two NRGRR alumni step sisters, Beauty (2011) and Little Bit (2014). Marley’s naturally sweet and happy disposition made him the perfect therapy dog and was certified through Pet Partners. He brought so much joy and comfort to patients, children, families and staff volunteering at Louisburg Elementary, UNC, Rex, Hospice Home, and Retrieving Hearts, until he retired last year. At 13 1/2 years, the beach still brings out the puppy in him!
