Scarlett was brought to a shelter with a badly broken femur. NRGRR was able to get her in quickly for specialty surgery at the vet school. She recovered from the surgery but as she healed a limp on her front leg was detected. Further diagnostics revealed she had a significant elbow dysplasia with degenerative joint disease. Despite these orthopedic challenges, Scarlett is a happy, loving and extremely playful girl. She loves playing with her housemates and fosters that pass through. She a special girl!
