Lucca came to us 4 years ago as a foster through NRGRR. She’d been in a shelter out on the beach for a good part of her first year and when she got to us she swallowed a rock since she didn’t quite trust that her new life would be better than her first. Luckily she made it through that surgery and has become the perfect dream dog!
Finn was also a NRGRR dog who we decided to foster. He was found chained to a tree and was thankfully surrendered to animal control. You could see every one of this poor boy’s ribs. We found out since, through a dna test , that this sweetheart is “golden hearted “…a mix of Great Pyrenees, yellow lab, and a little bit golden. Finn is the sweetest dog that just wants to follow his mamas wherever they go.
