Sadie (Pawdry Hepburn23), Maddie & Trooper (Grayson24) reluctantly dressed up for Halloween as the Three Little Pigs. Sadie, a NRGRR foster fail from 2023, came into the program as a skittish, shy one year old who was afraid to even look out the front door. Thanks to big sister Maddie, she now loves going for walks, barking at everyone who passes by and especially loves trips to the beach. Trooper is a NRGRR permanent foster due to a liver shunt. He is thriving thanks to the support and care from his NRGRR family. Trooper has never met a human or animal that isn’t his best friend. He loves wrestling with Sadie, going for walks and getting belly rubs from the neighborhood kids. Unfortunately Maddie recently crossed the rainbow bridge, but she deserves a bulk of the credit for showing her siblings how to be a southern belle and little gentleman. Thanks to the unwavering stewardship of NRGRR and a big sister to look up to, Sadie & Trooper get to live the life they deserve.
