Makana

Your Pet's Bio or Story
Makana is the Hawaiian word for "the gift". Our "Mak" or "Makana" was adopted from NWFLGDR in August of 2023. We estimate he is about 5 years old. The rescue called him Fred, as he was found as an underweight stray in AL with a female Dane they called Ginger. Since his adoption, Mak and his Mom have become a certified therapy dog team through the National Alliance of Therapy Dogs (ATD). He is a 145-pound certified Good Boy, much loved by his Dad, his Mom, and everyone in our neighborhood.
