Koda began his life as a stray puppy in Behchokò, NT. For the first 3 months of his life, he survived on the streets without family. Then one cold November day, Koda wandered through the front doors of the local school and snuck his way into my hearts. Ever since that day he has never left my side. We now enjoy all the northern activities together. Cross country skiing, hiking the Yellowknife trails, swimming in Great Slave Lake, and of course chasing ptarmigans. I believe Koda embodies the resiliency of Northerners. Life with him is a reminder to experience and enjoy everything the North has to offer.
