Miette was a free kitten found off kijiji, her mom was a farm cat we picked her from a litter of kittens because she was the mist playful. She was only 5 weeks old , that was 10 yrs old ago in August. Today is birthday June 18 and although she’s an indoor cat when summer rolls around so does she in our backyard she loves hanging out in our yard by the pool whether it’s on a Muskoka chair, under the patio table or just rolling in the grass! Our girls at the time were 6 and 9 they named her Miette which means crumb in French because she was so little when we brought her home and so were our girls who at the time loved to watch Barbie movies. Miette was the name of the cat in the “Barbie and the Three Musketeers” and that just seemed to fit.
