Pet's Story or Bio
Kinder is part of the Humane Education program at the Oakville & Milton Humane Society (OMHS).

As an OMHS Ambassador, Kinder helps teach visitors (in person or through virtual tours) about kindness and how to care for a pet.

With her furry features and funny personality, Kinder is an awesome ambassador! She’s super curious and loves to explore. Just like cats, guinea pigs purr when they are happy. They also like to pop! 'Popcorning' is a unique behaviour more commonly seen in young piggies when they are happy or excited. They jump up straight into the air over and over never seeming to tire.

Very social by nature, it is recommended guinea pigs have one or maybe even two friends. Luckily for Kinder, she has two close shelter guinea pig friends who all live together.
