Pet's Story or BioHunter is a very special dog. He came to us after I returned home from a brain injury clinical trial for a bad injury. He was a surprise for our 6 and 8 year old kids. Three months after he arrived, my husband was diagnosed with cancer. Hunter had to be fostered out for 6 months during my husband's treatments. Then he returned and we were a family again. A year ago, my husband died of cancer. I wasn't sure how I would be able to keep Hunter with young kids and still recovering from a brain injury. But, Hunter has been a lifeline for me and the girls. I am thankful for this dog every day.
