Pet's Story or Bio
Montecore joined our family 9 months ago at the young age of 3 months old. Sadly, he had to leave his birth siblings behind at the OMHS, but gained a new step-sister within our household. He is ridiculously smart, affectionate and silly. He has mastered our language and clearly says Hello when someone walks into the room, sits patiently for a mani/pedi, (he knows treats are involved when he's done), and he keeps his little sister in shape by playing with her regularly. Early one morning I awoke to him grooming my hair, then nuzzling by my ear only to hear a loud HELLO, so I would also have to say he has a sense of humor. He wants cuddles regularly, and if you are busy he will climb your leg to let you know its time to stop and snuggle. We are pretty sure he hasn't figured out he is a cat as he follows me everywhere I go, if I'm doing laundry he sits on the machine, if I'm vacuuming , he's right there, when I get up to use the restroom, he sits outside the door knocking and again with the Hello, Hello. He is a wonderful addition to our family if not for the companionship, but the outright goofiness of him. If any of his siblings are still available for adoption, grab them up. I can't forget to add that he is a bit of a hoarder, for some reason most of the toys we have bought have gone missing, until one day we discovered he has his own secret stash hidden under a bed in the very back corner. A new toy comes in and within a short time, if he likes it, it disappears.
